Based in Athens and working across Greece and internationally, Archaeopolis is a creative studio for event direction, event planning, immersive experiences and historical production, rooted in Ancient Greek culture and extending across the wider Greco-Roman, Byzantine and Mediterranean worlds.

Based in Athens and working across Greece and internationally, Archaeopolis develops private cultural encounters, complete historical festivals, institutional programmes, destination experiences and physical environments for film, television, gaming, exhibitions and branded production.
Its practice joins historical and cultural research with programme architecture, scenography, gastronomy, performance, workshops, reconstructed objects and on-site delivery. Archaeopolis was established in 2016 by Georgios Katsos, whose practical engagement with living history and historical interpretation began in 2005.

Georgios Katsos directs the historical, experiential and physical-production practice of Archaeopolis. His work spans historical gastronomy, reconstructed material culture, traditional archery, ancient physical culture, performance, cultural programming and production environments.
