Archaeopolis Objects presents a focused selection of vessels and coordinated sets shaped by historical reference, material knowledge and their intended use in dining, hospitality, collecting and production.

The design concept and aesthetic direction belong to Archaeopolis. Physical production is entrusted to selected workshops and artists whose craft translates that direction into clay, surface, colour and form.

Each released listing identifies its maker, material, intended use and historical basis. Food suitability, certification and edition status are stated individually whenever confirmed for that object.

Explore the handmade ceramics collection in the Archaeopolis shop, with individual photographs, archaeological comparisons and ordering information.

Drinking and dining pieces include the Large Black Kylix — Set of 4, Black Tapered Ceramic Cup and Black Ceramic Serving Platter.

For tripod vessels, view the Terracotta Tripod Pot, Part-Glazed Tripod Pot and Open Tripod Ceramic Bowl. Quantities, dimensions, finish and production timing are agreed for each commission.

Design and aesthetic direction by Georgios Katsos / Archaeopolis. Handcrafted by Dimitris Katsikis and selected collaborators. The arrowhead pendant is available to buy in the shop. Armour and other object editions are available by commission, with pricing confirmed from the required material, dimensions and finish.

Historical reference

Archaeological forms, visual evidence and the practical demands of reconstructed dining, ritual, hospitality and production establish the starting point.

Design & art direction

Georgios Katsos and Archaeopolis define each object’s concept, proportions, aesthetic language, surface treatment and relationship to the wider collection.

Collaborative making

Selected workshops and artists execute the objects by hand. The individual maker, workshop and country of manufacture will be identified on each verified listing.

Documented edition

Every released object will state whether it is a reconstruction, an historically informed interpretation or a contemporary adaptation—and whether it belongs to an open, limited or numbered edition.
