The production story

Emporium Productions made the four-part series, with Paul Bithrey directing, Rob McCabe producing and Emma Read creating and executive producing. Silverlining handles distribution and arranged Canadian co-production financing and international presales.

The journey includes historical sites, local encounters and archery. It explores places popularly associated with the poem rather than establishing a single historically proven route. Episode listings record an August 2026 UK release.

Known filming locations

Silverlining lists Malta, Sicily, mainland Italy, Tunisia, Türkiye, Corfu and Ithaca as destinations in the screen journey.
