The production story
Presented by Giorgos Lianis and directed by Leonidas Panonidis and Kosmas Filiousis, the series approaches remembered Greek figures through statues and historical interpretation. COSMOTE’s catalogue identifies the programme as a 2024 production.
This record covers the four ancient-Greek subjects: Homer; Alexander the Great; Themistocles, Pericles and Leonidas; and Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. The other four episodes concern later Greek history and are outside this record’s ancient-world scope. It is one series entry, not four separate productions.
