Archery in the Greek world belonged to hunting, warfare, myth and competitive skill. The Archaeopolis programme approaches that history through reconstructed equipment, close instruction and controlled participation.
The archive also records team games and shield-based arena exercises. Together they place the bow within a wider culture of movement, coordination, concentration and public encounter.
