Scorpios paired Otorongo with live vocals from Dominique Zuniga and visuals by Ede for its 4 August Sunset Area programme. The published artist description draws on music from Argentina, Mexico and Asia, so the draw was an explicitly cross-cultural live sound rather than a familiar DJ-only format. Adding a vocalist and visual layer gave the audience several points of focus within the same evening.
The 17:00-to-midnight schedule placed that combination in an open-air hospitality setting, with the transition from sunset to darkness likely changing how the visuals registered. What distinguishes the format is the coordination of sound, voice and image within a social venue. Archaeopolis's event-production work operates in its own projects; this Otorongo evening was programmed by Scorpios and is documented here independently.
