Georgios Katsos contributed on camera to the episode’s interpretation of pleasure and the culture of the Ancient Greek symposium, connecting the social institution to food, vessels, music and the shared experience of dining.
Archaeopolis prepared a reconstructed symposium environment for the production. The surviving 28-image archive records the filming space, camera crew, performers and the physical arrangement created around the episode’s subject.
Reconstructed vessels, food presentation and live participants gave the documentary a material world that could be filmed in use rather than shown only as isolated objects. Camera filenames in the archive include 20 September 2019; the programme was released in 2020.
The current official COSMOTE TV series page confirms the series, year, production and director. The episode subject and individual Archaeopolis contribution are supported by founder confirmation and the private production archive; the former episode-specific URL is no longer available.
