The production story

The documentary examines how citizens in ancient Athens developed a new system of government. Archaeological research, expert contributions and reconstructions connect the political experiment to the world that produced it.

The production has different broadcast versions. Yuzu credits Florence Tran on its 90-minute film; the Canadian version is credited by Merit to Jeff Newman in collaboration with Tran. It is an already-screened production, not a confirmed active shoot.

Known filming locations

Athens is the subject and a documented filming location. A complete production itinerary and any new shoot dates have not been established.
