The first episode of Historical Homos combines historical discussion with an irreverent comedic presentation. The distinction matters: this is a modern interpretation of myth and social history, not a historical drama or a neutral reconstruction of ancient relationships.

Apple TV’s catalogue dates the 43-minute episode to 1 June 2023. Dekkoo’s later free YouTube publication is another distribution of the episode and is not counted as a new production.
