The production story

The ZDF Studios catalogue presents two episodes tracing the rediscovery of Troy and the changing evidence for a historical conflict behind Homer’s epic. Hittite records and the disruption at the end of the Bronze Age broaden the investigation beyond Schliemann’s original claims.
