Scorpios opened its 2025 Mykonos season on 11 May with WhoMadeWho, Jean Claude Ades and Lannka on the terrace. The artists brought different musical energies: WhoMadeWho's hybrid of band performance and electronics, Ades's melodic dance sound and Lannka's deeper selections. The published 17:00-to-midnight window meant the ceremony could begin as a social sunset gathering and develop into a fuller night programme.
The opening was also a statement about the venue's seasonal identity. Guests experienced the terrace, hospitality and music as one arrival into the summer, not merely a ticketed concert. That sequencing—how people enter, settle and move toward a performance—is a useful consideration for destination event planning in Mykonos. Scorpios conceived and hosted this opening; Archaeopolis did not produce it.
