A directly commissioned programme
In February 2020, Delphi Economic Forum directly commissioned Georgios Katsos and Archaeopolis to design and deliver a historical-gastronomy programme for 100 guests during the fifth Forum in Delphi.

A directly commissioned and paid historical-gastronomy programme designed for 100 guests at Delphi Economic Forum V. The physical event was postponed during the first COVID-19 disruption and the Archaeopolis programme was not delivered.

What we delivered.
Hospitality designed as a complete encounter
The production plan joined a research-led historical menu with culinary preparation, presentation personnel, reconstructed ceramic drinking vessels, equipment transport and on-site installation. The commission therefore covered the complete guest encounter rather than food supply alone.
Commercial confirmation preserved privately
Private correspondence from the Forum organisation records the commercial confirmation, payment and subsequent request for the related invoice. Archaeopolis preserves those messages as evidence while withholding names, personal email addresses, tax information, bank details, the invoice and the exact commercial amount.
A documented commission that could not be delivered
The physical Delphi Economic Forum, scheduled for 5–8 March 2020, was postponed as the COVID-19 crisis emerged and was later converted into a digital event. The in-person Archaeopolis programme was consequently not delivered. The image used on this page documents Archaeopolis historical-gastronomy capability and is not presented as photography of the cancelled Forum service.
