Archaeopolis contribution

What we delivered.

01

Greek living history in Moscow

Archaeopolis participation and the content of its Greek presentation are confirmed by the founder and project archive.

02

The scale of the realised festival

The official aftermovie verifies the event and its scale, but does not identify Archaeopolis individually.

03

The surviving Archaeopolis record

A surviving Archaeopolis archive photograph records the Greek presentation in Moscow through mythological character interpretation and historical food culture. Its exact capture date remains unconfirmed, so the image is presented separately from the dated official festival film.

Primary visual record

What the film shows.

The official aerial film shows massed historical interpreters, camps, Roman formations, staged battle, arena performance and the public scale of the festival. It is evidence of the event, not an individual Archaeopolis credit.
