Archaeopolis demonstrations connect the form of an object with handling, movement, weight, protection and historical context. Depending on the brief, a programme may introduce reconstructed armour, shields, spears, swords, bows and related equipment through close interpretation, controlled demonstrations and supervised participation.
Every format is adapted to the audience, venue and agreed safety plan. Weapons and specialist equipment are presented through historically informed practice without treating reconstruction as spectacle detached from evidence.
