The 2025 edition of Scorpios Encounters took ‘Ever After’ as a frame for art concerned with time, longevity and possible futures. Its announced artists included Maja Petrić, Operator, Sasha Stiles and Philipp Frank, working across audiovisual, data-led and participatory forms. The attraction for a visitor was not a conventional line-up of objects to glance at, but a programme that asked them to look, listen and sometimes participate in how an artwork unfolded.
Placing those works inside the Scorpios environment also changed the encounter: digital and light-based art met an outdoor destination venue with its own social rhythm. The theme linked diverse works without pretending they were the same kind of experience. Archaeopolis's article on what makes an event immersive is a useful parallel for thinking about audience participation, not a claim of involvement in this Scorpios programme.

Experience-production note
The programme is relevant because technology is integrated into a hospitality setting as a curatorial layer, not added as entertainment wallpaper. Installations, openings and hybrid performances turn the venue into a seasonal platform for cultural experimentation.
