develop together.

Period & regional research

Define the century, location and characters before selecting equipment or dress. Develop a shared reference brief for the production’s military, civic or ceremonial setting.

Armour, costume & props

Review appropriate protective equipment and costume combinations. Establish which existing pieces can serve the brief and which details need specialist making or adaptation.

Martial interpretation & performer preparation

Connect reconstructed equipment to posture, movement and controlled use. Plan fittings and practical familiarisation with the production’s choreography and supervision requirements.

Production & cultural presentation

Coordinate equipment, interpreters and practical support for filming, exhibitions or a live programme. Confirm the delivery scope, transport and on-site needs before production.

Historical worldbuilding

A shared reference
for every department.

A Byzantine brief needs a defined century and setting. The collection photographs show modern interpretations, while the Via Egnatia record documents a delivered presentation of Byzantine martial practice.

Existing pieces

Rental depends on the selected object, dates, condition, fit and intended use. Archive photographs show the collection’s work; they do not guarantee stock.

New commissions

Agree the references, dimensions, materials, finish and schedule before fabrication. Specialist making is developed with the appropriate collaborators.

Support in Greece & abroad

Research, fittings, packing, transport coordination and on-site support are scoped around the project. Share the location, dates and required action with the first brief.
